What is Special?
Nuarro is one of only two lodges in Mozambique that offers shore access diving. So long boat transfers are not needed for scuba divers to reach beautiful dive spots – they can just walk in from the main beach. As such, great snorkelling is also quite easy to reach. The bay in front of Nuarro is the perfect safe haven for whales and their calves. These amazing giants of the ocean can be viewed right from the beach or take a kayak out to view them up close from the safety of the top of the continental shelf.
Nuarro Lodge is a rustic eco-lodge in a beautiful remote location. There is electricity in the rooms, supplied by solar panels and a generator, but no ceiling fans or air conditioning. The chalets are designed to make maximum benefit of the sea breeze. The bathrooms are en-suite with a shower only. The toilet is an eco-toilet. A sandy pathway runs behind the chalets that connect the rooms with the activity centre on one end and the restaurant on the other. Not ideal for guests with walking difficulties.
